| An interesting hour was spent at Crewe Station awaiting the late running 1845 ATW service to Holyhead, 57314 having to be detached at Cardiff being replaced on the rear by 57316, 57315 taking point sounding very nice indeed !
The interest started as 57314 arrived dead in train, along with Mk3 sleeper M10588 and Thunderbird 57313 at the head into platform 12. 57313 was quickly detached and run round onto the rear, where a quick word with the driver revealed the train eas being shunted onto the LNWR Shed where the Sleeper would be left and the ailing 57314 was then to be sent on to Longsight....according to the driver it may need a new traction motor !! |
